Always ensure that the batteries on your remote control are still working well.
Once the LED panel on your remote loses its brightness,
it is time to replace the batteries. The remote can still send a signal to switch the unit on, but the unit cannot recognise the command
signal to indicate which function to use, when the batteries are no longer in optimal condition.
While pointing the remote at the unit :
For cooling mode, select COOL (or the snowflake icon). Select the temperature as required.
Remember : selecting a temperature of 30°C while the unit is on COOL mode, will not provide heating.
For heating mode, select HEAT (or the sun icon).
Select the temperature as required.
Remember : selecting a temperature of 18°C while the unit is on HEAT mode, will not provide cooling.
Give your unit time to start up (some units take a few minutes due to internal safety settings).
When switching between modes, it can take up to 5 minutes for the unit to start up.
